Reaching us
| Channel | Details |
|---|---|
| General email | contact@yoonfret.africa |
| Personal data email | privacy@yoonfret.africa |
| Address | Dakar, Sénégal |
For a problem with a mission under way, open the dispute directly from the mission screen: support automatically picks up the history, the GPS positions and the proof of delivery. It is faster than an email.
Common problems
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| I am not receiving my OTP code | First check that the number you entered is correct, dialling code included. The code can take up to a minute depending on the operator. Use “Resend code” after 60 seconds; if a third attempt fails, write to us. |
| My KYC has been pending for several days | Verification is manual and takes up to 48 working hours. Beyond that, a document is probably unreadable or expired: the “KYC” page in your profile says which document is blocking and lets you resend it. |
| My Wave or Orange Money payment is not going through | Make sure the wallet balance covers the amount and the operator’s fee. If the MAXIT or Wave app does not open the deep link, return to Yoon and restart the payment — a new link is generated. |
| The truck is not moving on the map | The position shown always states how old it is. If it is stale, the carrier’s phone has lost network coverage: pending positions are resent automatically once the connection returns. |
| I am not receiving notifications | Allow notifications for the app in your phone settings, then log in again: the notification token is re-registered on login. |
| I cannot find my freight on the marketplace | Posted freight takes a few seconds to become visible to carriers. If it is still missing, your account may be awaiting KYC verification: posting is blocked until KYC is approved. |
Opening a dispute
Once the funds are deposited in escrow, and for as long as they have not been released, every mission has a “Report a dispute” button, on the web and in the app. Support automatically picks up the message history, the GPS positions and the photographed proof of delivery.
We examine the case and issue a reasoned decision within ten working days. The escrow funds stay held while the case is examined.
Emergency during a trip
Yoon Fret is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call the national numbers directly: police 17, fire service 18, ambulance 15 in Senegal.
The same numbers are shown in the Carrier app during a mission, with a call shortcut.
